I grew up on a small dairy farm in a little town called Dora MO and still lives there today. Most of my values that I have learned over the years all trace back to that farm. After Highschool I worked in a factory and most recently was a truck driver before I started this great career in real estate. To say I love the outdoors is a understatement! I enjoy fishing and floating our wonderful rivers and streams. Chasing turkeys in the spring and bowhunting whitetails in the fall. I couldn't have been any luckier to live in the Missouri Ozarks for my whole life and get to raise my family here. Just give me a call and let me show you why the Ozarks is a great place to live and call home.
Horses, cattle, fishing, canoeing, hiking, hunting, gardening, beautiful clean rivers, magnificent lakes, awesome views and the nicest people you could ever expect to meet. A community where the values instilled in me growing up were still the guiding principles. This was my list of wants when my wife and I started looking for a new place to live.
I grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast. Working with my grandfather on his farm through long days and nights watching crops grow, watching the weather and praying that the rain would come, or the hurricane wouldn’t, taught me faith and perseverance. Training horses and roping and wrestling steers taught me to trust my horse and the hours of practice I had put in. Fishing with my father taught me patience and the importance of choosing the right bait. Building apartments taught me that with hard work and pride in a job well-done any obstacle could be overcome. Later as a realtor, I found all of those earlier lessons valuable to finding the right home for my clients.
After thirty years of working in Texas real estate, from construction to selling property, my wife and I decided to relocate. The town we lived in had grown into a crowded city, and no longer fit our lifestyle. So, we began searching for our dream location, knowing full well that my list was probably not going to be fully met in any one place. Imagine my surprise when we found The Ozarks of southern Missouri.
Yep, we found it all right here. I am excited and honored to be here and working to help my clients find the same wonderful lifestyle I have found. When you find yourself ready to buy that farm or ranch you have always dreamed of, expand your existing operation, purchase that hunting or vacation getaway, upsize for that growing family, take that exciting step of buying your first home, or decide it is time to downsize let me show you all of the great tools I have at my disposal through United Country to help make your dream a reality.

I was born and raised in Oregon County in Missouri. Our family had a 1800 acre farm and leased another 1000 as well. My family raised hogs, registered Angus, Charolais, commercial cattle, hay and fescue. I grew up feeding the livestock and doing all the chores that goes along with farm living. I am the “Farmer’s Daughter”. I learned so much from the examples that were set by my grandfather and my dad. They were very successful farmers and businessmen. Honesty and hard work are values that they instilled in me from the beginning. Being out on the farm brings me back to my roots and my childhood. My mother and her family own a century farm in the town of Thomasville along the Eleven Point. We have so much deep history here in the Ozarks and I am so thankful this is where I call home. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters that I am very proud of. They keep me motivated to be the most successful real estate agent I can be. I enjoy gardening, riding motorcycles with my man, and enjoying our beautiful Ozarks home. Amanda was originally licensed in 2006 for several years and then took a break for a few years and is back in Real estate. Amanda has the real estate experience and knowledge to guide you smoothly through the buying and selling process. Amanda Tusher - Realtor -United Country Missouri Ozarks Realty, Inc.
