Jana Gauley

Currently residing in Bakersfield,
Missouri, nestled in rural Ozark County, Jana Gauley proudly
lives on the 200-acre beef cattle farm where she was raised. As an only
child, she grew up much like a tomboy, working alongside her father, Jimmie
Schaufler, on the farm. Her life revolved around hands-on chores such as
working cattle, fixing fences, baling hay, cutting wood, and raising hogs. Off
the farm, her parents were actively involved in her education and sports, often
helping other students by providing rides and meals. Jana played both basketball
and softball, and those early experiences helped shape her deep
understanding of hard work and dedication.
Bakersfield has been her hometown
for over 50 years. She is a proud graduate of Bakersfield High School,
Class of 1984 — home of the Lions. She raised two sons, both of whom were
brought up helping on the family farms. Her oldest son, Chris Bales,
resides in Bakersfield with his wife, Laccee, and their three sons: Tyson,
Brody, and Bently. Her youngest son, Taylor Bales, lives in Mountain
Home, Arkansas, with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Mason.
One of Jana’s greatest joys is attending her grandsons' school events and
extracurricular activities.
On the professional side, Jana holds
an Associate Degree from ASU in Mountain Home, Arkansas, a Bachelor
of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Elementary
Education, both from Missouri State University in Springfield. She
is currently a Special Education teacher at Gainesville R-V School District
in Gainesville, Missouri, and is celebrating her 16th year in
education. Teaching is a true passion for Jana, and she takes pride in making
a difference in her students' lives.
In addition to her successful
teaching career, Jana Gauley has always held a strong interest in real
estate. She's long enjoyed seeing people build and buy homes and farms and
has a deep appreciation for helping others achieve their dreams. With her love
for the Ozarks, its beautiful lakes, scenic river ways, and the
warm-hearted people who call it home, she recently turned her long-time passion
into a new professional journey. Through hard work and determination,
she earned her real estate license and is excited to help individuals
and families find the perfect property to call their own.
